My first day at the Melbourne Writers Festival started out at Channel 9 studios where I filmed some segments for Kids WB. I had heaps of fun mucking around with Andrew and Lauren who kept me on my toes.

I got interviewed about Con-nerd and did some nerdy segments like…well you’ve got to find out yourself haha, catch it this Sunday on Nine from 8am onwards…

Here’s a sneak peek hehe

I’d love to be a host on a kids show, would be a blast, toys, games and plushies galore, I got to stand toe to toe with the great Ben 10 himself.

Wait until the kids back at school hear about this lol.

Then I went to the ACMI cinemas for my first talk. It was a sold out session with loads of laughs, happy to see some cool authors like Tristan Bancks in the audience.

I finished off my day with two talks at Symonds Catholic College in East Melbourne, all in all, a jam packed day! Now I’m ready to chillax and do it all again on Thursday. I’m hoping to catch some author talks then, maybe Andy Griffiths if I can squeeze in haha.

I’m dying to read his new book, the 13th storey treehouse…he’s onto another winner!
