Han-loo

Four years ago, I decided to dedicate myself to writing and publishing a book. All I had was a half-written manuscript, a rough idea of what to do and a membership to the NSW writers centre.

Oh, and a whole lot of determination.

My Thai-riffic! book is finally out and about, and it still hasn’t sunk in. I suppose it will when I start doing my author visits, starting with my school launch next week. Or when I start signing books for readers and fans. This is what I’ve been dreaming of, ever since I was a kid reading Paul Jennings book.

So I’d just to take a breahter *ahhhh* and soak up the encouragement and support from all my friends and supporters, you were all there from the beginning and gave me something to aim for 🙂

Now I have an excuse to travel to different schools, see lots of kids and make them laugh, either through the book or just doing my comedy thing in front of them…and the best thing is that this is only the beginning.

To all the aspiring writers out there, it can happen and it will happen, if you believe it’ll happen. Yeah I know, I have hindsight on my side, but if you gotta have to want it so much because the motivation can’t dry up when the first book hits the shelves, it has to grow…
