Hey hey!

I’m part of a writers’ group for people who write for kids and teens. One of my friends from the group Jenny Hale, has just brought out her first novel! *wOOt wOOt*

It’s called Jatta and it’s a pretty wicked fantasy novel for teens. I’m thrilled because I’ve been hearing Jenny read it at our groups for ages and I was hooked on the adventure.

Jatta’s a 14 year old princess who is cursed with a terrible secret.

    Fantasy isn’t usually my thing, but having read Jatta I’m hooked – if they are all going to be as intriguing and beautifully written as it.

    I’m 14, reading Jatta now (on page 69 currently, heh, I’m getting there!) I love this book, seriously, just the situations Jatta & the characters are in plus Hale’s writing style. Mingled so well that I’m actually considering this being one of my favourite books! The only thing I wish there was more of is physical description of the characters. All I really know of what Jatta looks like is apparently blonde hair? Just wish there was more, would work as a better mental image. But anyway, kudos! I think I’ll stay up late to read this tonight!

    Yeah, Hale’s descriptions are so dreamy, they’re really poetic! I think you may get a clearer picture of Jatta as the story unfolds. Let me know what u think when u finish the book 🙂

    Hi.
    I’m reading Jatta. Its cover looked cool in the bookshop, and I’ve read Twilight, all four books. Loved them. Jatta is so different, you can’t go expecting another Twilight clone. It’s all about what it would be like to be a wolf and uncontrolled. ANd watch out for the Undead. They borrow souls. They freak me out. Anyway, it’s fantastic. I’m hooked. Jatta’s so sweet, and I’m already half in love with Arthmael. Call me fickle, Edward.
