Yo!

I know it’s been ages since my last post. I should blame the World Cup hey? I’m a massive Germany supporter, and I was nervous this morning. But we’ve made it into the quarter finals and I can wear my Germany scarf and jacket for a few more days. It’s been a blessing to be able to work from home, writing Nothing’s Prefect, and staying up late and sleeping in for these World Cup games. It looks like sport’s become a factor in Nothing’s Prefect as well. My main character’s Scott and he likes rugby league. I’ve always wanted to write a story about a kid playing league, similar to Specky McGee but in a more funnier sense. But I’ve seen those Billy Slater books, they look cool. Anyway, I can add some of my league ideas into Nothing’s Prefect now and it’s gained a few more legs 🙂

I’m hoping to get this off to Penguin and my agent very soon for some feedback. I’m itching to get Nothing’s Prefect off the ground, I really think it’s going to work. But first I got to stop dreaming of goals and penalty shootouts haha.

But yes, I’m still here and alive hehe, be back soon 🙂
