I’m at Melbourne airport, killing time before I fly back to Sydney. The Melbourne Writers Festival has come and gone for me, my second talk on Thursday was a smash thanks to some great kids especially from Richmond West. Slowly building up a fan base with guys and gals like these who have no idea what to expect and then you catch them off guard…thanks heaps!

I finally got to meet up with Alice Pung, scored an autograph of her new book which I’ve read today-epic and so worth the wait-I always try to act calm when I’m talking to her and even though we’ve met heaps of times before, okay 4 times, I still gush like a fanboy 🙂

Neways, it’s off to Ipswich next week, cHEwY tour rocks on!
