Happy New Year!

It’s the year of the Tiger (which means that Wests Tigers have to win the NRL, right?)

I’ve just come back from a relaxing trip from Thailand. It’s reminded me of why I wrote Thai-riffic! in the first place, Thailand truly is the land of smiles 🙂

Heather’s sent me the page proofs for Thai-riffic! I couldn’t stop smiling when I saw my work in book form (it’s still on A3 paper but it’s close enough). I’ve fallen back in love with Lengy’s adventures, it’s really become such a stronger book, thanks to Heather and her wonderful advice and work.

I’ve also started looking for authors and comedians to endorse and provide a quote for Thai-riffic! Star endorsements and quotes can be vital for a book to be noticed (Stephanie Meyer’s quote of ‘The Hunger Games is amazing’ springs to mind). I’ve made up a dream list of people to help me, so I’m hoping that they’ll come through.

That’s all from my first week back in Oz. I’m recharged, reengerised and ready for a blockbuster year!
