Howdy!

I went up north to visit Sheldon College, a school that’s embraced Lengy and Thai-riffic!, ordering class sets for their humour unit for Year 6 English…yeah that’s right, kids are being taught how to write funny stories!

So it was my pleasure to reveal some of own random thoughts and I mean random. I told the kids to shock their teachers, not with rude words but crazy ideas and thoughts! By the end of my workshop and talk, we were adding pineapples and dinosaurs and pineapples who live in saucepans. Er, I guess you had to be there. I’m going to try to make it happen for Punchlines, well…at least mention it in the book. I’m onto my third draft now and it’s shaping up quite nicely, a few runs around the oval and I think it’ll be fit for my deadline in July!
