Yo-yo!

I’m down in Melbourne for my Con-nerd promo tour/reading matters conference this week and I love this city, especially at this time of the year.

This morning I went to Penguin HQ to say hi to the kind folks who made Con-nerd and Thai-riffic! happen. They gave me a scooter to have for a few months, so I can scoot around in random places and then sign and give it away to a lucky fan…er yeah, it might have a few bumps and marks on it 🙂

But yeah, how cool is that? Never thought I would be riding scooters as an author.

 All of this was for Penguin Kids TV, their new webisode series on the Penguin You Tube channel. I take over a whole new episode with my cHEwY toys (yes Grumpy and Sonic are officially stars now haha). I should be doing some reports for them down the track, maybe at the Melbourne Writers Festival.

Tomorrow’s Reading Matters conference Youth day…there will be a mad author on a scooter riding around the state library FACT!
